Firearms Sales

Yes and no. The way my FFL is set up I am not allowed to build, construct or modify a firearm for the purpose of selling. However I am able to assemble parts and modify firearms that have already been sold. So what does that mean? You and I can sit down and order parts for your build. You pay for the parts ordered and when they arrive I assemble them because they have already been paid for. Or you buy a rifle, we swap out parts, bed the action, do stock work or dip the firearm or what ever adjusting or modification you wish while staying within the confines of my FFL type because the firearm has already been sold. Weird concept I know, but that’s how it works. If the part comes from a third party vendor there is no upcharge or taxes paid on completion. If I order the parts through a distributor there may be an upcharge to stay compliant with their rules and tax will be due on those parts. Otherwise if you order the parts they are treated just as though you brought them into the shop yourself and I only charge labor for the assembly.
